My original experience with design came from theatrical design, specifically scenic and costume design. I used those skills to move into publicity design, creating campaigns for the Department of Performance Studies at Texas A&M as a graphic designer. I still have a vested interest in publicity design, particularly for events.  Publicity design is an extremely creative face of graphic design, and I love seeing what other designers do for concerts and other performances.
